| | | The United States Travel Blog Contest determines a winner based on popularity. The most effective way to earn the most votes and win the contest is to ask family and friends to support you by voting for your travel blog. |
1. Submitter must be a legal resident of the United States of America.
2. A submitter can submit no more than 1 Travel Blog entry per month
3. Unless an entry wins, each entry will be entered in 3 consecutive contests (the current month plus 2 additional months).
4. Any new entries will receive 10 votes.
5. At the start of each month, entries still competing in future contests will be reverted back to 0 votes, unless they won second or third place. In that case, they will receive 10 bonus votes at the start of the new contest.
6. At 8pm EST on the last day of each month voting will close to determine the most popular winning travel blog entry.
7. The winner will be notified by email on the first day of each month and be asked their mailing address in order to mail the prize to them. If we do not recieve a response within 10 days, we will not award any prize. If you are a winner and do not hear from us, please email us at info.com.
8. Entries need to include all information requested.
9. All entries will revert to 0 votes on the last calendar day of each month.
10. Travel Blogs may be displayed in our monthly travel ezine, Travel Talk Ezine. Subscribe by entering your email on the form in the top left panel of our homepage.
11. Only one vote per person permitted per day which is determined by a working email address and IP address of the voter.
12. Only one vote per household per day will be accepted.
13. In the event of a tie, which means that 2 or more entries ends the month with the same amount of votes, the entry submitted to us first will be the winner.
14. All entries must be approved by the Pick My Vacation Rental.com administrators - Each entry must be determined to be ''family friendly''.
15. Entries must be original artwork and not a depiction of any commercialized product.
16. The Pickmyvacationrental.com administrators reserve the right to change the rules for this contest at any time.
17. If we suspect any cheating involved with a particular entry, we will remove that entry from the contest.
18. The submitter must be the sole owner of any images uploaded to this website. No linking back to this image in anyway. The submitter gives their permission for us to display this image on our website and in our marketing materials.

All new entries receive 10 bonus points just for entering. The second and third place winners will receive 10 votes at the start of the next contest.
Once your travel blog is submitted and activated in our system, anyone can visit your travel blog page where you will find a voting button at the bottom of the page. Only 1 vote per household will be accepted per day for each travel blog. |
