Many more show cloudy images next to statues or family members showing in pictures. The best place to photograph and see what ghostly treasure awaits is Devils Den. At times the grass fields serving as a background for a photograph may come out black. |
| 7. Ghost hunting beginnings should take a ghost tour, such as the Black Cat tours. The tour guide will explain where the best haunted places are and what to look for when in one of those ghostly locations. |
| 8. Take a walk over the Sachs Covered Bridge located between the battlefield and Eisenhour Farm. The bridge was used by both the Confederate and Union armies to cross Marsh Creek during the battle of Gettysburg. It is also notable for a triple hanging believe to occur on the covered bridge. |
| 9. Be respectful of the people coming to the Gettysburg park and battlefield to soak in the history of the civil war. Most ghost hunters go at night, so there should not be too much overlap. The local government is starting to crack down on the ghost tours, since many are springing up and getting out of hand. |
